Ulysses not found 28,819 words

Killed a character without espcially meaning to. The story had a fight in which he was hit on the head. The story needed him not to regain consciousness right away. He’s still fine. Then, well, the story needed to shift up a gear, put more at stake. He was the casualty. A new plot line opened, where his girlfriend is going to seek revenge. Also a few characters have unacceptable emotional responses to the death.

ION one of my cop characters got taken off the case. Average word count is up again…
